Girl Talk
Women Igniting Change® funded a $1,000 donation to Girl Talk to support scholarships to a 3-day leadership retreat.
Girl Talk is an international non-profit, peer-to-peer mentoring program with a simple premise: High school girls mentor middle school girls to help them deal with the issues they face during their formative, early teenage years.
Heart for Africa
Women Igniting Change® funded a $1,000 donation to Heart for Africa toward providing food, clothing, support staff, medical needs, and even birthday cakes for FOUR orphaned children for one month.
Heart for Africa is a faith-based, non-profit organization that works alongside churches in Swaziland, Africa, to provide care and hope for their childrens’ future in this small African nation. Through short term service trips, child sponsorship, and large fund raising programs, they deliver quality care, shelter, food, water, clothing, health care, and education to the orphaned and vulnerable children of Swaziland.


Women in Defense
Women Igniting Change® funded a $1,000 donation to Women in Defense’s Georgia Chapter to provide a scholarship through their Horizons program.
Women In Defense, a National Security Organization, (WID) was established to provide women a formal environment for professional growth through networking, education and career development. Through its HORIZONS Scholarship Program, WID encourages the pursuit of careers in support of STEM, national defense and national security.
Eating Disorders Information Network
Women Igniting Change® funded a $1,000 donation to the Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) to support outreach programs in Atlanta.
The Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention of eating disorders through education, outreach, and action. The organization strives to serve as a comprehensive resource and educational guide for those wanting to learn more about eating disorders, those seeking help and those gathering and distributing information about available treatment options both in Atlanta and nationwide.

Women Igniting Change® funded a $1,000 donation to girltank to support the kickoff of their Atlanta Chapter, hosted by Google.
girltank is a collective of women and girls starting businesses in big cities, building movements in slums, forming clubs from Vietnam to San Francisco and innovating in fields like STEM where few women hold visible positions of power. These are the women and girls who are undertaking a cause bigger than yet inseparable from who they are.
